That looks great DK how long was the turn around?
Also did you take your wheel off to send away to them, or leave the car?

He trimmed a spare wheel he had in advance. I rocked up yesterday and he swapped em over in all but 10mins.

Top top job

Really professional. Took great care and pride in the job

Really nice bloke also

Couldn't recommend highly enough

Fecking bargain also!!

The alcantara matches the headlining perfectly and also has subtle brown stitching

The material feels great under hand

Evening Folks

Does anyone happen to have the spare wheel that was doing the rounds that they could send on?

Think it's time to start freshening up the interior :-)

Same as above

Is the spare steering wheel still doing the rounds or does anyone have one?

This is exactly what I want done. Not getting on with the bottom of the FBSW. I'm not sure if it's the texture or what but it has to go :D

How much did this cost?

btw: looks amazing!

That's the different steering wheel I told you about in your orignal thread, it's not a B7 steering wheel; You'd need to add a sport button to the dashboard and change one of the steering stalks. Or you could retrim your current wheel and cover the plastic part with leather or alcanatara.

To those that have had their steering wheels retrimmed, how is it holding up? For those that chose the alcantara, any regrets? Is it wearing ok? Cheers

Yes. Group buy was a year ago (Dec '14).

Contact Royal Steering wheels and they'll still do you a favourable price.

I'm tempted at the alcantara with Blue Stitching. And seeing as I live in Aylesbury it would be rude not too!

As I use my car (B7 RS4) as a Daily at the moment, I'm wondering on how long the quality lasts? I had a similar finished Steering wheel on a previous car that looked and felt great but after 6 months started to show wear and so switched back to Leather. Seeing as this Group Buy is a little old, how has everyone's faired?

Cheers
