Have you considered getting a set of Phaetons and swapping over your current B7 bells.

Best price is normally when eurocarparts have a 30% discount code.

The front brake discs on the Audi B7 RS4 are the same as the front brake discs on the VW Phaeton EXECPT the VW Phaeton discs are NOT crossed drilled and the bells on the Phaeton discs are different to the Audi B7 RS4 bells. As you already have a set (I'm assuming you have a set on the B7 at the moment?) of Audi B7 RS4 discs you can take the bells off these and fit them to a set of VW Phaeton discs. The Phaeton disc part number is 3D0615301N. I have these discs on my Audi B5 RS4 which replaced a set of B7 RS4 discs that were on the car previously. I'm well please with them :D If you want anymore more info let me know.

I fancy a set of alcon discs inquired recently with one of their distributors (performancebraking, com) they are direct replacement for oem but better and considerably lighter they are used on alot porsches and gtr's.

As discussed the discs are a minimum order quantity of 3 pairs. Prices are £325.40 + del + vat for plain finish and £360.54 + del + vat for s grooved. They weigh approximately 8 kg each and are 365 / 241 x 34mm.

just two other people

Weight saving aside, spend another £140 and you can get the OEM ones.

I agree Mike, rang them about these and they said they are great for track days and racing etc but will wear quickly do tgèy don't advise people to fit them for general road use as they won't last as long as OEM ones
