Yep, you will loose performance unless drastic cooling measures are carried out.

We did a lot of R-Road runs and got between 5-8bhp on a dastek rolling road, certainly didnt lose any power..

ambient temps were 23 degrees on the day..

throttle response is much better and the noise...epic and similar to a C63 AMG...

looks good but surely might aswel just take the bottom part of the airbox off, larger maf housing is most probably helps the extra bhp.

yes its possible but not sure if the old school way of modding is the way to go on an RS4

power is nothing without carbon

When you put it into perspective; a lot of us have bought the carbon cover for the right hand side of the engine bay for about £300. That serves no purpose other than to look pretty. So an extra £250 buys you an even more impressive lump or carbon as well as a performance air filter and hoses and makes a lovely sound. Sounds quite reasonable now.
