Re: KW COILOVER LOWERING KITS. B7 , B8 , C6
Well I collected mine today. Thanks for all your efforts Grizz, and nice to finally meet you.
Didn't really get a chance to throw it about on the way home even though it was a 150 odd mile trek it was pretty much all motorway with some traffic for good measure. I'll get a better feel of it when I throw it rew some roundabouts tomorrow morning. In terms of comfort it felt the same to me as it did before, not crashy or harsh at all and the DRC has kept its character.
I only had one rub on the way home and that was as I turned quickly into a very tight turn into a petrol station so pleased with that. The rear is set at its lowest and I have 50 odd kilos in the boot with oversized tyres so no surprise really. Once the right tyres are on I reckon it will stop rubbing altogether.
The front has a little room adjustment left in it but I'm leaving it for a while to see ow it settles but I think it could be just a notch lower. It looks like I still have plenty of ground clearance at the front too but I didn't pass any big humps or steep driveways on the way home.
As promised here is a couple of pics to whet your appetites. I'll add more to my build thread once I get some better ones (it's dark outside now).
PS Grizz, your car is a flipping lovely!
