Aero wiper kit group buy
I have just fitted mine, quick write up before I clean her, it's getting dark.
Open bonnet
Pop off dust cover with small flat blade
Undo 13mm nut, if stiff apply WD40 and have coffee.
Gently prize off wiper to free it up on the mount ( I used the handle of a set of crimpers as they are rubber)
Lift wiper arm to square it up on the pole and it should come away easily, not too much force as you might smack it into the bonnet.
Codes are as follows
Driver side
Arm ending in 410
Blade ending in 426
Passenger side
Arm ending in 409
Blade ending in 425
Then just bung them on, tighten up nuts and then test with washer jets if not raining (shut bonnet first). Lastly apply new dust caps.
10mins max

Thanks for the write up Tom, saved me hours swapping blades and arms!
Carl, thanks for organising this and negotiating such a good price!
Maybe we should get a GB going with vag parts for 710N valves??

Got them fitted this morning(took about 10 mins) and i must say they look much neater than the older pair once fitted to the car.
However one observation i have made is that because the passenger side wiper is not curved the 'parked' position of the wiper blade has to be about an inch higher so that you get the full sweep and crossover up the top of the screen (almost behind the drivers sun visor).
Anybody else noticed this?
Not a problem though just an observation.

Just fitted mine, had to put a large screw driver inbetween the bottom of the wiper and mount to prise it off, it was on well tight!
Looking good, weird feeling tho, I know I don't want it to rain, but ...
PS. I went up to the post office to pick it up this morning, the postie says its a big package ... I'm thinking, wtf?? anyway, he gives me this massive box and I assume it must something else I have order but forgot about, open it up outside the post office to find a recaro baby chair?!?!?!? anyway, went back in and he swapped it for my wipers ...
