I remember a H+R coilover group buy a few years ago when a large sum of money was handed over to a bedroom seller.
A lot of members got ripped off.

I can assure everyone that my money will also be handed over therefore I am going to make sure nobody gets ripped off, I am not approaching ebay sellers or dodgy companies... only reputable companies with a proven track record.

I have sent Phil all the info on pm and email, with contact details of my contact, which I am happy for him to check with.

You take a risk handing money to any online seller, if people get a good deal and are smart they'll either use Paypal or a credit card so they're protected.

I'm happy to say that so far Klauster has done this by the book and the vendor is one I would be comfortable dealing with. Once the offer is on the table, it's up to the buyer to evaluate the risk.

Things that might encourage a better number of participants are:

- How do I know how worn my disks are? What tool do I buy to measure them? What is the equation to best judge life expectancy based on the thickness of the disk?
- Let's say I wanted someone to fit them, would any of the Site Sponsors be willing to offer a bring your own parts service and what would be the cost of fitting only?
- New disks should be fitted with new pads. Can we get a price including pads from the same vendor?

Yes, a guy beat me to an auction on eBay and then re-advertised them, so I made an offer and he accepted, strange really but I ended up with a brand new pair of fronts for £400 + £15 postage. They're still in their boxes waiting to be fitted!
