Sorry chap, I stuck my name down as I found an entry in the recent history of my 'new' RS4 stating the front discs were down to minimum thickness. We're going to measure them tomorrow, and if that is the case, I'll forward my details as requested. If they're not, I apologise but may have to pull out (which would allow any other late comers to benefit)

One way or the other I'll give a final answer tomorrow if that's ok.
Sorry if that holds up the others wanting to get theirs ordered, but I am reluctant to believe the 'specialist's' opinion having had to chase misfires on cylinders 1,2 &3 and then retime the cams following them fitting the belt one tooth out on that bank!!!

I've read and re-read the thread but couldn't find out if there's been some agreement on the free carriage. Did you manage to get free carriage with the size of the order?

Update:

I have been emailing over the last 2 days trying to get more cash off or free carriage...

The free carriage is no go, so I was pushing for more cash off based on a somewhat larger order then previously thought.

Got a new price through at 6pm today and they have gone up in price.... LOL I am not amused.

Will be calling first thing in the morning to find out what's happening... it could be a typo or it could be back to the drawing board as far as suppliers.

I will update again tomorrow
