Hi All,
I can see from the forum that a VCDS from Ross Tech is great if you want to investigate a fault. However, if my B7 RS4 is running well (at 40k), what value will a VCDS bring to my Audi owning pleasure other than having one around 'just in case...'?
Input most appreciated!
Stu.
What else do you use VCDS for, other than faults?

Changing the setup of the central locking, changing whether the rear lights come on with the DRLs, changing the lights to dip right when I go to the continent, recoding when I retrofitted my RNS-E and Bluetooth, enabling the sidelights indicator on the instruments,.. a long list of things.
Plus, investigating fault codes without having to pay a dealer £50 or £100.
