Odd DTC after MAF change. No wiki entry

Post by Shoppinit » Mon Mar 15, 2010 11:14 pm

Changed both MAFs today for genuine Bosch ones. Car runs like crap and is throwing the following codes.

Any ideas? Can't find any info on 17416 DTC.

It was my airbox not seated properly. I took it off and reseated it and all was good.

You need to make sure there's no springiness in the air box towards the back. If there is it isn't on properly.

It's a properly <beep> design.

All seems to be fine now. There's not much u can do to reseat the airbox... It's the Mafs that need to be seated, unless I missing the point. Anyhow removed airbox off removed Mafs from airbox.. Putt all back together & so far it appears to be fine... Been driving locally & it feels much better... No idea what wasn't seated properly, but hey...
