New fault codes.

Post by R5CPK » Fri Feb 12, 2010 6:48 pm

Got a few fault codes stored. Any advice re where to start looking gratefully received.

16885 P0501 Vehicle Speed Sensor 'A' Range/Performance intermittent.

16891 P0507 Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected intermittent.

18010 P1602 Power supply terminal 30 Low Voltage intermittent.

None of these faults put on a dash light.

I'm hoping the last is because I have disconnected the battery. Do I have a defective speed sensor? If so where is it located? Anybody any experience of the second fault?

Thanks.

Since they are all intermittent clear them and see if they return.

As said above clear them and see what happens. The bottom one I think is you Alarm Siren. I might be wrong. This in not un common.
