Has anyone come across this before:

01369 - Alarm triggered by Hood Switch
35-00 - -
I've recently replaced the battery thinking it could have been that due to running the battery flat.
Any suggestions on where to look first or how to disable to the hood switch within the ECU via VAG-COM.

I've only had this when my battery was left to run flat. Does it come back if you reset it? If so, then probably a new switch will sort you out

Turns out the switch was faulty, simply disconnecting it until you can replace it fixes it. I would say it's down to alot of grime build up as it's right at the front of the car. Luckily the switches are only a fiver...
