a fellow forum member is selling a vagcom cable in the classifieds section http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... ic&t=75853 will this be ok for my car to check for codes ect. ive got a b5 rs4? will i have to buy the vagcom program separately?

Should work just fine, the license is "in" the interface so all you need is downloading the latest software from our website.
