Hi,i have now got vag-com on my laptop,been getting along with it ok and cleared my codes etc and car seems to be fine now.but i have just serviced the car and want to reset the service light.Can i do this on vag-com?if so where do i find it on there please.

Yes, you can. It's not a one button press. Look at instructions for your car on the Ross-Tech wiki at http://wiki.ross-tech.com. You might need to read the label file for your instruments.

Are you on AVS or fixed service?

shaun what car do you have? Rs6 c5?

Can you not just do the usual press and hold the stalk on ignition and clear back to the 8k miles service indicator?

Or if you have a new version of VAG-COM

hi contigo,i have tryed that but it doesnt work!!! i will have a look aon the vag-com when i get in and see if i can see whats wrong!!

dave i dont know if the car is on fixed service ??I havent had the car long and its my first audi!!!
