check engine light on my rs6 help

Hi rs owners,i have just bought myself an 03 rs6 avant and im loving it.but have a small problem that im hoping somebody can help me sort on here.

Last week after i had driven the car and left it on idle to cool down before i put it away in the garage,the check engine light came on.I thought this is strange as it was running fine and had not come on while i was driving!

pluged our solus in and checked on freezeframe data it cam up as the carbon canister that had caused the fault.

cleared the code and started car it didnt come back on.

since then i had a good look over the engine and found some of the vacume hoses to be tired,so i have replaced them all.

used the car last night,same thing happened!! left the car on idle when i got home and opened the garage door and got back in and light on again!!

same code again!!

has anyone else come accross the same problem??

it is just the case that i need to fit a new carbon canister??do these give problems??

or could it be the valve that controls it??

any help would be great.

i had the same problem when i left the car on idle and open the garage but I have an rs4. Grizz vag comed it and it was running lean.
then started getting a bit of a high pitch noise, turned out to be some sort of valve? not sure which one.
