DTC Codes Help needed
RE: DTC Codes Help needed
From the Ross-Tech Wiki:
First one 17916 speaks to restricted airflow maybe due to some sort of obstruction in the air intake system.
Second one: engine coolant sensor faulty.
Third one: some sort of throttle body problem.
Typically with these sorts of report, one failure causes a number of fault reports. Without knowing more it is hard to diagnose as we could do with hearing more:
1. What's your vehicle type/
2. Have any symptoms??
3. Any warning lights illuminated?
4. Any unusual readings - temperatures etc?
If no symptoms, then i would clear the codes and give the car a few mile drive ensuring it's fully warmed up. Then re-diagnose to see what fault reports you have. Definitely worth doing to make sure you don't start dismantling the car before you know there is a real problem. Sometimes a small one-off intermittent fault happens which triggers a slew of reports.
