Problem logging codes

Post by am8631 » Sat Sep 01, 2007 6:08 pm

i have the usb cable from gendan and it works no problem. But im having difficulties logging groups. I can log group 003 but i cant seem to select a group higher than 025 - keeps saying i need an activation code.

I am using the shareware version of vagcom so does that mean i cant log any groups above 025?

Also, where is the data writen to when you log groups?

thanks

Andy

Did you follow the activation instructions which came with the cable?

Logs are stored in ross-tech/vag-com/logs

As far as i remember there were not any instructions for activation - just how to install the hardware drivers etc. I will have another look tonight....

This is what i got from gendan - http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_VAGUSB.html

Right, now I see why you have a problem.

The real cable is about £265 if I recall from Gendan.
