MAF Reading at Idle

As above really, not had a chance too do any logs yet but got a MAF of 3.8g/s on tickover.
Is this about right for a custom remapped engine?

MAF readings at idle are not very useful. The peak value at full power is far more telling.

Yeah i thought as much, i will try and get some time this weekend to do some logs.

+6 ish on all 4 measuring blocks?

Did my first set of logs the other day and i'm pretty sure the MAF is ok. :wink:

I've just taken a drive and the max reading my MAF was 106.75, is that low ??

Yes. You did use all the revs didn't you?

Yes, that was at full RPM, 100% throttle

Will this cause lack of power ?

Get your new MAF fitted Adam and try again, i bet you will be surprised by the difference.
