You can now log FATS times within MRC tunings website for various cars, also a time calculator for VAG logs to calculate times, a Valuable tool for comparing times

could this go as a sticky??

Cheers guys

Yep this is for any FATS time, s2,tt,s3,sr,rs4 etc..
yeh the calculator is purely if you havent got the fats excel form

Jimbo - good run! i should really do a run on 17's to see if the time changes much!

weight reduction vs FATS times
if I remove the following
3/4 tank of fuel 37KG
MarkB 80kg (just guessing)
laptop 4kg
Spare 15kg
junk in boot 10kg
-------
Total 146kg
This would be equivalent to an 9% weight reduction, would i therefore see an 9% reduction in Fats giving 4.677. which would be pretty good for my mods?
food for thought..............waiting to dodge the bullets!!

We shall see jimbo, Im going to try to do some runs changing things to see if can keep things constant, tune, then reduce wheel size, then fuel and also spare wheel etc..
MRC are going to do some runs with a stock s4 on 19s and also on 17's to see times, then do some remapping i think which should be good for us to see the changes in times.

I have added my stock car. Not as interesting as most (all?) of the others there but I am happy enough to be sub 7 seconds with a totally standard car. Plus it gives you lucky guys with the nice mods something to compare against

thanks jeffw and jfeb!

its good to compare the mods and times!
i did a 17" run with same mods as 19" run and got 5 secs, but i did have a flat front tyre (10psi!) so ill do another im thinking i might be able to get under 5 secs fingers crossed

I added mine this weekend, possibly turns out to be my worst run ( I will add a decent run soon). Currently getting 5.6 - and I got a 5.2 - maybe downhill lol
