HI ALL,,
been looking through the ross tech web pages , i am considering buying the vag com , just a bit unsure of which one to go for ??
starter set-up appears to be around $229. was one choice or
another one i thought was $329. vag com ,hex-com+can interface?
any pointers as i feel this would be a worth while purchase,,

hi mate, it depends on what you want to use it for? if you just want to know error codes and log some measurement blocks you may be able to use the free one like i do with a £5 fleabay cable, on the otherhand if you want to get serious and write changes to your motas control systems you will need the full monty as you describe above, personally i wouldn't know how to use it properly to do this and would end up screwing my car even more, but if you want to be serious and learn it all up...quattro999 wrote:HI ALL,,

With the free version, can you reset error codes and alter stuff like the central locking set up?
