Anyone Bought VAG com from here?

Post by Paulm » Mon Apr 10, 2006 4:53 pm

I ordered VAG-COM from VAG-COM.co.uk a month ago and still nothing. If you call you get a answer phone and email no reply.

They did reply 2 weeks ago to say they were waiting on an order.

Anyone get their vag-com form here or have I just wasted 166 notes

I reckon that's the best bet. However, if you do want to order from the UK, I would recommend this company.

I always try and buy as local as I can, just because it seems the right thing to do for local business etc.

I heard good things on here re this company that is why I tried them

Harry, They say they will give me a refund. finger crossed

cheers peter but put my order in last night and shipped today cant get much better than that :)

Zerok66, you will be lucky if they answer the phone I always get the answerphone. I did get an email from them yesterday saying 7 to 10 days delivery. The last email said 3 to 4 days delivery and that was last week so no idea when it would arrive

Hi Paul

Did you get the USB version? How much did it cost in total after import duty etc? (If you don't mind me asking ;))

Did you ever get your money back from vag-com.co.uk??

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

Yes USB Verson. I have not tried it yet as I only got home today. Will have a play tomorrow

£168 including post. Never had to pay duty etc, just lucky I think. It is only a jiffy bag so looks like it slipped through  I could not have asked for a better service from Ross Tech

No refund yet :( still trying though

Not bought a vag com from US but bought other electrical goods. Seems to be if its delivered by royal mail/parcel force then they bill you for duty immediately and have to pay on doorstep. Other couriers work differently - usually send you a bill for duty several weeks later.

Can be a bit of a shocker

Indeed - when my PhatBox was delivered USPS/Royal Mail, I was presented with a bill for more than £100 at doorstep delivery.

Yep, my VAG COM came by courier (TNT IIRC).
