Is there anyway to reset the throttle on the S4 so it can learn my driving style?

Key in the ignition turn on but don't start, wait 10 to 15 secs, you'll here the TB re-align itself (easier with bonnet up).

Only with VAG-COM.

I thought you had to leave it longer than 10 to 15 secs

I'm sure its 30 secs at least.

It does not "learn your driving style" - all it does is motor the throttle and re-read the sensors so that it can properly control the throttle position.

What does Realigning the throttle do exactly.

Whats the advantage or point of doing this?

Thanks

10-15 secs is how long it takes to start only takes 5-10 secs to complete. Resets throttle alignment and sets ECU settings back to defaults.

Not sure if Vag com allows it, but if you go into engine 01 adaption channel 0 it will ask if you want to delete (ECU)learnt values, select forward arrow on VAG 5052 0r 5051 all done.
You will need to set basic setting for throttle afterwards channel 60 on later cars.

On VAGCom it is a push button labelled TBA or Throttle Body Adaption.

Other than physical removal of the TB, are there any reason why you should need to do this?
Just incase? Or is it common for getting out of sync?
