@Scotty - yep, seen that Db before, but I wanted something more UK-biased and exclusively for the RS246.com community.

Added myself, well done Nige, good idea. Perhaps one of the mods can "sticky" it so it stays at the top?

Can VAGCOM turn off the Solar Sunroof function? It would be great to switch this off in the winter and turn it back on in the summer.

Not sure but I've got a pair of wire snips if that helps.

I know many other people who have Vag-Com who are not on RS246. Do you want to keep it just to members on here or open it up for people who could be on your doorstep and helpful but aren't on here. i.e. TT owners etc. I know their username won't correlate to RS246 membership but I'm sure we can resolve that somehow.

I guess you could either unplug it or pull the fuse - never seen a sunroof module in VAG-COM before!

@Scotty, I don't have any strong views on this - the more the merrier, but preferably experienced vag-com user! The difficult part of having non-rs246 ppl would be contacting them - the only way around this is if they could add a 'pm' to their frappr registration?

Did'nt realise we were so close, in the new year I must pop over and you can show me the basics of VAG-COM if you have time? and if there is such a thing!!! Nice idea by the way.
