Hi folks,

I have been watching videos and reading stuff about obdeleven. It looks good and fairly easy to use but my only worry is that it isn’t that good for the B7 RS4 because it’s slightly older than the reviews on the likes of MK7 golfs and the likes. Basically looking for real world reviews from folk using it with a B7.

Cheers

Would really appreciate this also as I need to ‘unlock’ the Sat Nav dvd in a B7.

I have one and actually used it to check for faults and haggle whilst buying my B7. It easily paid for itself on the day.
Very easy to use and carry about in the car.
I've only really used for fault checking but similar to Vagcom you can go into the modules and there are adaption drop downs and all sorts
I don't have the original stereo fitted so can't comment on the maps etc. It did let me down when I wanted to turn on one click open and lock beep. I couldn't find either but Vagcom did it easily
It's obviously not going to be as feature rich as Vagcom but it's come in very handy for me on the other cars

I’m sure you can do long coding with it just like Vagcom on the pro version. Obviously you have to do it manually rather than an option but no different to Vagcom. If I was looking to buy Vagcom, how much can it be bought for? eBay versions okay or are they a bit dodgy?

Cheers

I have the pro version and with a little patience it's probably all achievable. For me it was easier to get a mate to sort my beep and one click
