On which side are brake pads worn or can I disable message?

Hi all, I have C6 RS^ with an intermittent Brake Worn caution on the dash that is down to some dodgy wiring somewhere in the body (hub area wiring checked out ok). It's had new pads fitted by dealer under warranty but the fault still there. Can VCDS detect which side is giving the brake worn signal? It'd help narrow down this annoying fault.

If not, is there a way to disable the warning so it doesn't show again?

Only one side has the warning sensor, full lock and have a nose under if you can.

You may be able to code the warning system out, you will find that in the instruments module.

Both sides of the car have sensors (one sensor per caliper) and can't be coded out as I said above.

Well the new DS2500 pads I've just fitted don't have any wear indicators so I chopped the plugs off the ATE pads that were fitted, connected the ends together to create a loop and refitted the plugs and the message has disappeared so hopefully it was something in the sensor loom rather than the car loom. Although to be fair it was intermittant before so I'll see if the message is still off in a weeks time.
