I have 2007 B7 RS4 which has developed a problem of the engine cutting out on me while driving it.It used to do it when the cruise control was activated, but now its doing it when the cruise control is off.Its an intermittent problem which seem to occur after approx 1-2hrs after driving.Has anyone experienced a similar problem or has knowledge of whats wrong ?.Took it to Glasgow Audi who said that nothing has shown up on a diagnostic check as no dashboard warning lights has lit up.Have heard of a friends friend car doing a similar thing also.
Any info would be greatly received/

Could be one of the clutch switches. The fact that cruise used to cause it points in that direction.
I'm sure someone else more experienced could comment.
