To VAG-Com users, FATS times database for the Euro S4s
out of interest do you guys have someone starting and stopping the logging for you or do you do this yourself whislt driving? I have found you need a very long straight to carry out this FATS log. I tried it the other night and ran out of road, redline in 3rd is shifting pretty fast. Any tips appreciated.
I found this out too, whilst accelerating hard in 3rd round a bend in the S4. Things happen so much quicker in the RS, you only need half the distance to do a 3rd gear run.I have found you need a very long straight to carry out this FATS log.

pretty bored so I dig up my best run about a year ago. It was 0 C and I ran 100oct with 1.7bar to 1.5bar. Straight K04's, CATs and #36 injectors at 5bar and homebrew stg1 software.
Since that I installed rs4 gearbox so I cant compare my times anymore.

I would first buy wideband airfuel meter before changing any fueling parameters and even then you need to fully understand what you do. Its too easy to blow your engine making wrong adjustments.
