Climate control fault code

Using the climate control unit to display fault codes, it's displaying 18.3: Fresh air blower voltage, sporadic. It doesn't seem to be giving me any problems, but I'd prefer to not have any codes. Anyone have any ideas what's causing it? I don't have a VAG-com yet.

ignore it unless your fan stops working. may be a loose connection or may be nothing. mine flashes up 2 different sporadic codes relating to 2 flap valve motors, but they still work... (20,000 miles so far)

when i clear them with vagcom it can be a month or 2 before they come back
