VCDS killing my battery

Post by RS04YOB » Sat Feb 02, 2013 9:35 am

When I run VCDS it kills my battery, can you use VCDS when the car is running, what is the option on VCDS to test the battery to find out the volts/watts amps remaining :beerchug:

I always have the car running when using it. If you run a test when the engine is off don't you get loads of errors?

The only errors ou will get is what is actually present, turn the DRL’s off if you want then do a scan whilst the ignition is on but not running.
VCDS HEX+CAN owner - covers all VAG cars (PM me if you require VCDS coding in Kent)
