Auto-Locking once under way

Post by Digger » Thu Jan 20, 2011 5:23 pm

My 6 I noticed will automatically re-lock the car if I have walked up to it, unlocked but not gotten around to open a door after about 30 seconds iirc. Quite handy that.

Will VCDS allow you to program an auto-locking of the car once you get under way? I like to lock myself in once on the move but am forever forgetting to. It was a handy feature on my last car.

Apparently yes you can but not sure how. You can also programme a beep/horn when you lock the car if need be.

There's a thread about this in the B7 RS4 forum.
