ABS and ESP Lights

Hi to you all, ime a new member and wonder if anyone can advice, Had a little blast of my RS4 B5 last night came through a roundabout and ESP and ABS lights came on and stayed on,i tried pressing the ESP switch nothing happened, i then pulled over and restarted the car and every thing is ok again, any ideas or should i get it checked out on vagcom, thanks for any advice given,

Get it VAG-COM'd.

I had this last year and it turned out to be corroded contacts on the ABS controller and only last week the same happened again and VAG-COM stated the ABS sensor on the offside wheel had failed.

ABS controller got gradually worse over a period of 6 weeks or so I think.

I haven't got my ABS sensor fixed yet, error has only come up once so far but it'll get replaced imminently.
