What's new in VAGCOM update 20071016?

Only major releases are listed on the Ross Tech site, anyone seen anything new in 20071016?
Present: 2010 Ice silver B8 S4 s-tronic saloon (standard)
Past: 1998 Agate grey B5 S4 saloon (MRC tuned)
Hers: 2011 Volcano red 8P A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI 170 sport quattro

Graham - it's the same release (704.1) of the program, the difference being the data version (as you say, 20071016). I assume this means some minor tweaks to the label files, but I cant see what they are as yet...

It's an updated data version, this is something we do regularly to keep up with changes VW/Seat/Skoda and Audi make within the model year.

A data version usually contains new/updated label files for newly introduced models/control modules as well as new/updated label files for older models where our documentation wasn't complete yet. It may also contain an updated Auto-Scan list and a new set of fault codes, both is the case with the latest update.

Don't hesitate in installing, it won't do any harm to you - updates are cool.

Regarding ore major news, the week is still young... ;)
