Calculating bhp on 2.5tdi

Post by tartan_rob » Mon Oct 22, 2007 6:22 pm

I know this is not the right car for the site but how can I do this via VAG-com?

For petrol cars you can use the 0.8 calculation but not sure with TDi?

Thanks,
Rob

Actually, Vag com can give you a torque figure for diesels and you can work out the power from that. Its group 20 on my Tdi. however I had to use a multiplier of 0.6 to make the figures realistic. but once Id done that it was a very accurate way of doing it.
