VAG Com lead and Software

Post by alex_123_fra » Thu Sep 27, 2007 8:39 pm

Hi everyone,

I don't know if there has been a thread about this previously (probably so but my search didn't reveal it) but just wondered if anyone could help so I don't buy the wrong thing. What lead and software should I be getting for the RS4? There are lots on ebay but I don't want to get the wrong version or one with different functionality.

Any tips on where to get these bits from would be greatly appreciated.

Finally, can VAG com run on a MAC with windows emulator?

Thanks in advance :)

See here;- http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/faq_1. ... quirements

This is the Vag-Com and lead i got and it works fine- http://www.ross-tech.com/Merchant2/merc ... ode=VAGCOM

I just bought the rolls royce Mac and already had a Vista based PC but they were no good for the vag-com
So I bought a laptop just for the VAG-Com  and my missus went f**kin crazy.

Ross-Tech are excellent - highly recommend them

I run VAG-COM perfectly on an intel Mac, running Windows XP through Bootcamp. The system relies on a lot of real-time data transfer, so your likely to have issues with slower interfaces. I'd say you'd struggle with Parallels, and have no chance with Virtual PC

Have a look at the FAQ on the Ross-Tech site
