alarm ? Vag errors on b6 a4

Post by oliew » Mon Aug 14, 2006 3:05 pm

Hi there a friend has just bought a B6 X reg audi A4
The alarm keeps going off, she can turn the interior sensors off + tilt sensor off and it doesnt go off...
i ve just vagged it for her and the following faults came up.

3 Faults Found:
00962 - Alarm via. Tilt Sensor
35-00 - -
01702 - Footwell Lighting: Left (w9)
20-00 Short to Ground
01331 - Door Control Module: Driver Side (J386)
80-00 - Single-Wire Operation

Not sure if the Tilt sensor is the one setting it off i cleared the codes and instantly the Door Control Module came back

Anyone have a clue?
thanks
Oli

Sounds like the tilt sensor is faulty.

I haven't found any way of disabling it using VAG-COM. Just have to remember to flick the tilt sensor off switch in the drivers door pocket.

As far As I can tell the tilt sensor is an integral part of the comfort system control module (J393).
