Hi,
Anyone here with a handle on the R8 market currently, are they still trading at a premium? I'm close to pulling the trigger and trading up my RS4 cabriolet and am looking for any pointers or advice.

Coming down a tad, wouldn't like to be someone who paid a massive premium for one! I have to get myself into one at some point in a few years when they hit the £50K mark.
Any idea when they are going to add the R8 to the used car locator on audi.co.uk?

Dealers 'demo' cars coming up for sale next month - circa 30 cars into the market - impact on prices ?
Offered a manual mag ride silver for £75k - still too rich.....

The R8 has a 4.2 litre 420 bhp mid-mounted V8 engine which shoots it from 0-100 kmph in a scant 4.6 seconds and all the way up to a max speed of over 300 kmph. price tag is $ 1,09,000 MRP

I had a V10 for seven days, courtesy of Audi Press Office. I wrote the following review which appeared in the Independent Magazine last month.

Hi Alphamail
Having owned an R8 (V8), I am intrigued as to why Audi Press office would give you one for a week to write so little. Moreover, nothing particularly new, or even to compare it to the V8 version - that would have been interesting!

Hi Jon, Glad you liked it.
Surely the first paragraph explains everything?
