Excellent news about R8 just received my show tickets today no exactly where I am going first. There is news that they may be launching a Targa not far after launch of coupe. Does anyone have one on order?

None of that until next year and the show rooms get a physical car, they have not released the exact engine specs as yet. So deposit left, name down and wait. Plenty of speculation as to whether the V10 will be worth the extra money or if it will price itself out of the market. I am interested in the V8.

If they are starting to come through May/June then specs should go firm February time. I agree that the V8 is probably the one to go for. I'd like to know whether they've stretched another 10-20 PS out of it and what the kerb weight is - hopefully we will find out next week.
Maserati GranTurismo GTS Auto, S3 Sportback, TT2 3.2 Roadster, Disco3 for the heavy stuff.

Why the V8 out of interest? Apart from the money? Does a V10 sound different?
