Will I fit in the seats in the R8?

Post by Merlot » Wed Jun 14, 2006 9:11 pm

I'm getting very keen on the idea of buying an R8 as a 'keeper' but will I fit in the seats? I've tried the buckets in the RS4 and they are too narrow round the thigh whereas the S4 style Recaros are fine.

Lets hope that Audi don't make the R8 too extreme that some of the larger of us don't fit in!
Maserati GranTurismo GTS Auto, S3 Sportback, TT2 3.2 Roadster, Disco3 for the heavy stuff.

Hey good point I have one on order to. I am the chief complainer regarding the RS4 buckets, the fact that I saw no demo car with the standard recaros in it to test or view the Quality and with the RS4 logo to.

The seats will be a major factor to whether I take my R8 order or not. I drive my B7 RS4 less becasue of the seats which is a shame. And I asked Audi in regard to having the seats changed and they just said no...without coming up with a silly price either!
