Jack Barclay Audi vs MRC Tuning

Hi,

I wanted to check whether any R8 V10 (Plus) owners had experience of both Jack Barclay Audi in Wimbledon and MRC Tuning in Banbury.

I've never used Jack Barclay Audi before but understand they are highly experienced Audi master techs with specific expertise in RS/R8 models.

I have experienced MRC Tuning for the past 6 years but understand they don't see too many R8 V10s.

Jack Barclay Audi is 20 miles away for me vs. MRC Tuning which is almost 100 miles away and while I would always go the distance for the best service, I want to get views from those who have had their cars looked after by either.

Of course, if there are any other garages recommended, open to suggestions.

Jack Barclay for servicing (insist that one of their R8 master techs works on your car) and MRC for any tuning needs you have IMO.

Having visited JB Audi, I'm not filled with huge confidence although definitely better than WL Audi.

Having said that, WL Audi is a very low bar!

I used jack barclay for two years whilst I had my C7 RS6, can’t complain the head techie was always helpful.

Reperformance are experts with the R8, based in Swindon. That’s where I will be taking my R8 if I go down that route next year.
