Tyre sizes

Post by asifg » Thu Jun 13, 2019 1:56 pm

I'm looking to change the tyres from Contis to PS4S and I noticed that the Gen 1 V10 R8 comes with two sizes of tyres for their 19" wheels:

295/30/19 (which is what I have now) or 305/30/19
Both versions seem to have the 235/35/19

Since I'm changing all 4 tyres, can anyone advise if I should go up to the 305 and is there a major difference?

Thanks!

I changed from the PZeros 235/295 to P4S 235/305 and it was a huge improvement - but I suspect most of that was from the Michelins being a far better tyre.

Go for the wider rear!

Thanks! However I managed to get a deal on 4x PS4S 295/235 so have ordered them! The price of £665 after cashback was too good to refuse!

Maybe next time and then I'll also be able to do a true comparison too
