I have a V8 that has just ticked onto 22k. Has anybody had an engine carbon clean done and did it help do you think??
Where are people getting it done and roughly how much. Locality is Yorkshire area.

Are you talking about a hydrogen clean? (There is a company called “EngineCarbonClean”)

Or - someone to take the inlet off and manually remove the carbon buildup?

The latter works, the former doesn’t.

The second one, where yes I believe the head/inlet, whichever, is removed and the ports are blasted with walnut shells I believe.
I know REperformance do it and are well thought of but they're hours away from me. Was hoping for someone closer.
