Blue Smoke after extended idle only

Hi,
I have a 2008 Audi R8 i had it carbon cleaned two months ago, however I've noticed today that after extended idling if i put my put on the accelerator there's some blue smoke.
this is only happening on idle and doesn't always do it! its fine when cold, just when warm but as i said doesn't always do it, if i pull away quickly or drive it hard there's no smoke at all.
what could be causing this valve stems going?
