TPMS system malfuction

Post by pablotommo » Thu Jun 02, 2016 9:56 pm

I have a May 2010 R8 V10 and recently had a couple of new alloys. After 15 or so minutes of driving I get Tyre pressure system malfunction warning come on. It's been to Audi twice in the last 6 weeks for a service and then MOT and they were asked to reset both times which they said they have. Picked up again today and same thing. I have checked all the pressures and adjusted and again after 15 minutes same message comes up. There doesn't seem to be anywhere is the menu to set tyre pressures...any ideas or has it got to go back to them again?

Thanks chaps!

I am not sure, but think you will need either VCDS or a dealer to reset these.

Thanks Steve, you were right, been back to the dealers and they had to this time code the 2 new sensors. All works fine again!
