I guess the main reason for this is that my wife and I never discuss my car choices; I just buy what I want and she pretends to ignore it but today she saw one (a coupe) and said - why don't do you change to that? Well ok then.

If you're meaning the new R8 V10+ Spyder then hell yes as the sound the Coupe exhibits is out of this world so roof down it can only be even better. Given they're only 2 seaters regardless, the Spyder wouldn't make the car any less practical so it's a yes from me if open top motoring is your thing.

Was considering the previous model. Choices, choices. Incidentally, I had a good look at a Graphite Blue Turbo S at Reading OPC today. Simply stunning.

Not seen a Graphite Blue 991, in fact yet to see any Blue 991TS, only seen Black & Agate Grey. Order placed today so only 11mths to wait until delivery.

The R8 was definitely in 2nd place & almost became too close to call, but after some hard thinking over the weekend the Porsche won over.

It's blue only by name. Reminded me of Nardo at first glance. It was / is an absolute beauty though. Thought for more than a few seconds about doing something very hasty and buying it.

Well he drives a Beemer so maybe you can answer that?

He actually drives a Merc but i guess much of a muchness. I should be OK though as didn't encounter any negativity when i had one for the weekend & certainly a slightly better reception than in the M5 so all good.

Nice, going to get your pals at DMS to tune it? Don't worry about warranty, it'll be fine :)

That's highly unlikely, but never say never.

Can't imagine I'd be able to notice any performance difference given how quick they are stock, but they know these cars inside & out so may well discuss options as an Akro would be a nice to have.

Saw this on PH. This is the colour of the one I saw in the Reading showroom. I am in love.

I think there are better colours. That's very John Major in Spitting Image.
