I agree re the interior of the old but for half the money it's a good buy.

I still don't understand pricing on the new car, discounts already being had which says a lot. This does appear to be the Audi model now, price high then discount.

having looked at the config, things that were standard on the Mk1 are now options, such and Mag Ride, B&O etc

so, options are 90% profit ... so, as people add £10k of options, Audi will happily discount the car by £10k via VWFS who in turn will earn £10k in Interest payments ... so the customer thinks he is winning, when all the while VWG laugh all the way to bank in order to fund the Goodwill payments announced in the US to diesel gate customers

Looks stunning, but ouch that's rich & personally I feel not enough car for the money. Would take a 991 Tubo S over one all day long.

Saw and sat in the new one in Geneva - 6 months on, its still ugly.
Has it got the same engine? The new + is 610bhp if i heard correctly.

Does make the old R8+ at £80k seem like a bit of a bargain, but tough to buy the old one when the new shiny one's about. Also the interior of the new one is night & day better. On the road i've no idea but i did have a giggle fest when on an extended drive in a Samoa Orange V10+ last year.
Of course it has a more powerful engine 610bhp for V10+ vs 540bhp for V10. Plus much better interior. Actually, it was the best looking interior for Audi I ever sat in. Cockpit like switches looked awesome. The blue picture is of standard V10. The car looks better in red than in dark spray IMHO
