I'm not sure you could call them comparable though
570s will be way past £150-160 with options, and is a rear wheel drive wannabe super car with iffy styling. R8 V10+ available at £125k and is a reliable, 4wd super sports car with iffy styling
If I needed a 2 seater car to drive every day, I'd buy an R8 or a 911 Turbo everyday of the week

I'd skip the 570 and go used 650.

Yeah, discounts offered straight away

I can't stomach the styling of the 650. Other than the front, the proportions and details look awful to my eyes
I hear the 650 is a fantastic car to drive, but having driven a 12c, it'd need to be a massive improvement as that was pretty pants other than being seriously rapid

I'd bypass Mac altogether if I was in that market and go Fezza. Mac doesn't do a lot for me.

The 540S is the bargain. Loses the active suspension, but some might argue that's actually a good thing

I'm the same. If I was in the market for a £200k weekend car, I'd get a 458, Huracan or even 488 every time. McLaren just do looks and noise like the Italians do

911 scores for me in having four seats. I just cannot justify a two seater, unless I can suddenly afford an F12.
