R8 V10 plus first reviews...

Have to take these things with a pinch of salt, considering how much advertising Audi put through Dennis publishing, but looks promising...

The readers of peeheads don't if you read the comments

I'm sure it drives great, but they got the looks all wrong IMO

I agree, but remember none of the guys that commented have driven it
The looks aren't great though, I'd be the first to admit that
Having had a sit in and poke around the blue v10+ audi uk have, it's a lot better in the flesh and normal viewing conditions and the interior and driving position are very nice indeed
I'll await a drive before I make a decision though

Yeah I poked around and sat in them in Geneva. IMO it shouts Sports Car, 911. The original V10 shouts super car

DK, serial R8 V10 buyer, is it me or is this Plus incredibly well priced?

http://www.audi.co.uk/used-cars/used-ca ... 87568.aspx?

Wondered at first if the price was too good to be a plus - ie. just a facelift with ceramics and buckets - but doing a VRN check it comes back as "R8 PLUS QUATTRO V10 S-A"

Graeme, get in there!

Yeah, gave them a call when it first came up on the approved used site, but it's been sold before it was advertised
I guess they just advertised it to get interest in the dealership

That's a shame and yes dealers do do that. You interested in a R8 GT?. :bigblink:
Too much power is barely enough.
