Does anyone follow GT prices? Only 33 in UK, is that right? The R8 v10 is clearly a classic, 88k feels cheap, head properly turned..... Hmmm

They're an acquired taste IMHO
They look and go a lot better than the same generation V10, but they still have that opinion dividing Rtronic box, and in my limited experience of driving one, I found it to be a bit too raw for my liking

Ahhh yes, R-Tronic.. Dang.. Do they do a GT with S-Tronic or is that pretty much the LMS?

GT was pre S-Tronic. LMX is a pimped plus.

IMO the GT is the true unique car of the mk1 and will have strong RV's

The R-Tronic really is only a pig around town

On a track or fast road, it's bang on

The Plus / S Tronic is the sweet spot for a DD but there are lots of them.

But IMO the GT is super rare and has some really trick bits such as CF bumpers, Perspex windows, special buckets etc

The kingfisher at £89k with 2.9k miles is a great buy and if I didn't have Heff I'd buy it

If I were you Graeme, I'd buy it. Keep it 12/24 months then get a mk2 Plus once someone has spunked £30k depreciation

Ahhhh so it is too good to be true

Graeme - you'd already called them then?! :D
Yeah, gave them a call when it first came up on the approved used site, but it's been sold before it was advertised
I guess they just advertised it to get interest in the dealership
Not sure if same car but Hatfield Audi are advertising a Ibis '62 Plus for £82k due in end of July

That's the same one. I understand it's an ex Audi car, so might have been a track experience car, but that's still a good price

I'm sure £80k would take it
It is a good price as can't see the Plus's dipping <£70k for at least 3 years from now, so £3/4k a year depreciation for that car is pretty epic

You said its an ex Audi experience car though? Not just a dealer demo?

Ex ADE would be a horror. Avoid. I've driven one for starters.

One owner, many drivers.

What do they show as on the V5?

My auntie and uncle are on their second ex-Audi UK owned Audi A4, no complaints, believe the first one was for an employee based at Bentley Crewe

Not belittling the car your aunt has, but I'd suggest that an Audi owned R8 would get treated very differently to an Audi owned A4
I'm not sure which is likely to get treated worse ; An 'audi experience' car that's going to get thrashed everyday, but at least looked after well, maintained able the service schedule and hopefully warmed up properly, or a Dealer demo car, that will largely get thrashed, an almost certainly not looked after (i.e. revved from cold and generally abused)

I have no issue with a audi Experience R8 other than possible wear and tear to seats etc.

Tyres/brakes/oil all changed and the R8 is bullet proof and likes to be thrashed
