Christian grey in the 50 shades of grey book drives a v10 R8. That's got to help the pulling power :)

Audi have gone all in for the film, so the R8 will feature pretty well in it I'd guess. Think alacantara is more succeptable to stains than leather ;)

I've got a V10 from Audi to try for a week from Tuesday, but my mrs thinks they look like hairdressers cars as she can't see the difference between them and her mates TT , so my luck's out :(

I still can't afford a V10 and tbh, prefer the R8 over a 997T so am back looking at these...and would appreciate your help / thoughts as always.

Maidstone have a black one in. Seems pretty basic but what's your thoughts????

A V10 all the way fatneck especially coming from a C6 RS6.
Too much power is barely enough.

I'd agree. I V8 will seem pretty flat in comparison to an C6RS
V8 is a great car, but the V10 is night and day in my experience

V10 is the only way. Trust me.
I'm on my 5th V10 and my first R8 was a V8, what does that say?

Interesting comments, So a V8 R8 isn't really an R8, And the 997 Turbo over the Audi,
I had my 997 less that 6 months and was glad to see it go to be honest , I could not get my head round the fact that most porsches smoke on start up every now and then and use plenty of oil, although the engine was fine all the dealers all say 'that's normal' (dry sump !), also the hideous electronic oil gauge that shows 1 bar full in the morning and 4 bars full later in the day, give me a dipstick everytime,
I'm after a V8 R8 at the moment only because I'm thinking V8 = AUDI BILLS, V10 = LAMBORGHINI BILLS,

Your thinking is totally wrong

The V10's are bullet proof

V8 = coked up RS 4 engine
V10 = smooth as silk epic Huracan engine
