Love the car to bits...... Sporting a milltek super cup now :biggrin3:

I'm thinking about having the rear bumper insert & front grilles painted dark grey as the silver doesn't suit

Thanks[/quote]

Did the Milltek came with the car or did you install it and how does it sound?. Any sound clips?.

I wouldn't change the colour of the bumper inserts and grilles because they are OEM plus it's a big job. I have a black R8 GT with the same light grey colour bits and love the colour contrast.

Enjoy your ride. :bigblink:

That video does nothing for the exhaust! I have fitted the milltek since buying the car, only had it a week before getting it sorted. I had arranged the development with milltek before collecting the car.

I had a milltek race system on one of my previous V10's and that was super quiet in comparison.

The downshift in sport mode is intoxicating! The super cup system is 3" from the manifold, and has 2 small (baked bean can) silencers.

With reference the rear bumper insert, the GT has a grey insert, the plus is more silver. I think it would look better in grey, closer to the wheels and the carbon.

Looking for suggestions on 20" wheels...........probably HRE

Il get some tunnel vids done, aslong as there are no smart comments about driving!!! :biggrin3:

Love to hear your car in the flesh... My car was also the development car for Milltek but sadly the owner swapped it back to the OEM exhaust. I do how ever love how the GT OEM exhaust sounds.

Wheels wise, I highly recommend ADV.1. I have 22" on my C6 RS6.

You need an aftermarket exhaust on a V10!

I'm sure the GT & plus system are very similar, in fact I'm sure it's just the hanger positions that are different.

Where are you based?

My brother have a 10 plate V10 and my GT sounds so much louder and rawer than his in comparison. Not sure how true it is but I've read and been told by many including Audi development engineer and my local Audi head tech that the GT exhaust is 6kg lighter and is much different to that from a Plus.

Cheers.

The original Capristo system is the best, x pipe is nice, but a touch quieter ... GT Capristo is different
