HELP: Reverse parking camera

Post by classba » Fri Sep 12, 2014 8:14 pm

Retro fitted a new OEM reverse camera kit to my GT with the Kufatek wiring loom but can't get the display on the RNS-E Plus. Anyone here have the rear cam set up who can advice of the coding and the adaptation values taken from Vag Com?.

Thanks in advance.

ive been trying to do this to mine for a while it wasnt the kufatek one but has been a real pita tried all coding and nothing works, maybe better for you as i have an old rnse.

the coding is self explanatory when you click on it in Vag Com, it will say what numbers to add etc,

then change the adaption from 0 to 1 for the reverse cam

Audi tech has advised me that without proper calibration, nothing will come up on the RNS-E.... I'm kindof thinking they're mugging me off TBO.

The fault code I'm getting from Vag Com is Calibration needed but how can they calibrate it if I have no display when put into reverse?.
